The 3/4 Winter Bib Tight with Pad (Men's) is a warm, fleece-backed 3/4 bib tight. It is recommended for use on those warmer days in the colder months when a pair of summer bib shorts is simply too cold and full length tights are too warm.

We recommend using this 3/4 tight in temperatures between 10°C - 18°C (50 °F - 65°F). This winter bib tight uses a fleece-backed lycra that is made using hollow yarns. These yarns create an air-based insulation layer that is lightweight and warm.  This 3/4 Winter Bib Tight uses  the same long-distance chamois in our popular long distance bib shorts.

To prevent riders' torsos from overheating, the upper straps on this 3/4 Winter Bib Tight is made from a lightweight mesh summer fabric. The ends of this tight is finished with our signature Silicone Macrodot Gripper.

About this Thermal Fabric :

We took care in choosing a thermal fabric that makes this winter bib tight a joy to use on your cold rides. The fabric has a wide operational temperature range, making it versatile. This fabric has the following features :

  • Recommended for temperatures between 10°C - 18°C (50 °F - 65°F)**
  • Hydrophobic Treatment - repels light rain & road spray
  • Brushed Inner Fleece for soft on-skin feel
  • Piling-Resistant
  • Contains Hollow Yarns - uses the thermal properties of air to insulate you against the cold while remaining lightweight, like a polar bear's fur
  • Polyamide on the outside of the fabric and polyester on the inside against the skin allows sweat to evaporate. Polyester yarn has a low hygroscopicity, that absorbs little water, while the polyamide yarn has a hygroscopicity that’s 3x higher. The difference of hygroscopicity between the two fibres quickly transports moisture to the outside of the fabric. Your body stays dry and comfortable

    High Quality and oh so comfy.

    Excellent fit and sizing estimate was spot on. I especially like the leg grippers which do the job but do not feel restrictive like many bibs. Extremely comfortable overall. Could not be happier with this purchase and now own 3 pair. Summer/ 3/4 bibs / and winter. All fit equally as well.

    Best shorts yet!

    I bought the winter bibs this time and have only ridden one short ride (1:20). I did not feel any pressure points and my Fizik' saddle has never felt so comfortable! I have several other brands (Assos, Castelli, Exteondo, Pearl, Rapha etc) but for me these are the most comfortable. I bought the size XL. I am 6' 1" tall and weigh 190 lb. I am a 74 year old, (semi) retired male, living in a coastal town on the west coast of California. Average summer temperatures 55 to 60 degrees; winter temp average 45 degrees with 70-80 inches of yearly rain. Thank you for providing such a wonderful product at a very fair price.

    Awesome bibs!

    These bibs have been great! Where I live the temperature can change drastically throughout the day. It may be 40F in the morning, and quickly warm up to upper 80’s. I purchased these bibs as a kind of in between to keep me warmer on the cool mornings and not too hot as the temperature rises. They have performed great. They keep me just warm enough on chilly mornings, but don’t cause me to overheat once it warms up. The chamois is very comfortable and supportive. The sizing recommended to me by Yuva was also spot on! The material is very comfortable on your skin. I am also very pleased with the elastic leg openings. They stay in place and they do so without feeling like you have a rubber cuff around your leg. I have had various bibs from other companies, both more expensive and more budget oriented, and these bibs have been my best purchase yet. I will definitely be adding more bibs from Red White to my kit!

    I have been a Red White customer for about 10 years and I have been very happy with their products, customer service, and quality materials. I purchased the 3/4 winter bibs because here in the high altitude of Santa Fe, NM we have long cool autumn and spring seasons. I’m sorry to hear these will be discontinued, but I am happy to have a pair that will no doubt give me years of riding comfort.

    Great customer service

    Great bib, it has about 200mi on them, and the pad really is comfy.
    The mid-section is a bit snug but that was to be expected with several emails with Yuva, who is fantastic to communicate with.
    Great price point. To be honest, this is my 2nd year road biking and i'm not sure how tight my kit is suppose to be after +30yrs baggy/loose MTB.
    I'm not uncomfortable but also not super comfy, i gotta get used to a tighter fit. LOL Tks!

    First time for 3/4 bibs. They fit great. I have 4 other pair of redwhite bibs. I bought medium and they are plenty tight. 5’6, 140.

    The 3/4 winter XL bib arrived In very nice packaging. The quality was outstanding on feeling the material and actually going for a cool weather ride a couple days later. The performance and fit was perfect. The chamois was super comfortable and did its job on the ride. Great experience overall.

    3/4 Winter Bibs

    I ordered a pair of 3/4 winter bibs from RedWhite apparel since winter was coming on and I hate having cold knees. My order arrived quickly and it was a pair of the 3/4 cargo bibs. While those are pretty cool cycling bibs, it wasn't what I ordered. I contact Yuva and we determined the package was mislabeled. I chose to return them in exchange for the 3/4 Winter Bibs. Yuva told me there was a delay on the 3/4 winter bibs due to the global supply chain issues. No worries, I'm not in a hurry. He told me it would be 4-6 weeks but I had my new 3/4 winter bibs in about 2 weeks! Perfect timing as the weather was getting colder. The 3/4 Winter Bibs fit perfectly as per Yuva's sizing suggestion. The first ride with new bibs is always a challenge but these bibs were just like the other RedWhite Apparel I've bought. I have pretty large calves and the bibs are a little snug there but my knees are toasty warm on those 40-45 degree days. Great product and spectacular service from Yuva! I'm a fan!
